No, it's the only purely proportional contest on March 15th.

Yes? Kasich never contested areas like North Carolina. Areas like North Carolina were supposed to be Rubio's backbone - conservative but not ridgely the way Cruz works.

Kasich has never connected in the South. His goal is to use a win in Ohio to jumpstart some wins in the Northeast.

Also I don't know why lots of folks think that Trump was going to lose NC, he's won every county that borders NC and in many cases they were his strongest areas in GA, SC, TN, and VA.

Marco Rubio's at only 4% in North Carolina among people who have actually already cast their ballots.

According to PPP, they'll have Democratic numbers in the morning, and IL, MO, and OH are all "very tight"...!

B-b-but Republicans/conservatives hate Kasich!1!

It turned around when Kasich stopped trying to be aggressive in those debates.

I hate Trump as much as the next person, but this is starting to get a little annoying. Also I don't think North Carolina Republicans know that it's the right thing to do.

I'd be cautious about getting too optimistic, though. If they have Clinton up by more than 25 in NC/FL, that's not good for Sanders.
