I like how CNN did a countdown to the Idaho polls closing, and then tossed it to reporter a few seconds before the hour without talking about Idaho at all.

The Hawaii caucuses have just started.  Here's a pic from Twitter of the long line at Ala Wai Elementary School:

It's way too early to tell, with only rural counties reporting anything.  Cruz is doing better in the southeastern counties that are reporting than the northern counties.

Idaho is one of those areas where very subtle cultural differences are going to make a big difference.  Cruz's big lead in Butte County isn't surprising.  That's on the periphery of the area with a lot of Mormon influence.  Cruz will absolutely slaughter in places like Madison County (Rexburg, BYU-Idaho).  The early results from central Idaho are potentially promising for Trump, but it's such a small sample area.

This is an anticlimactic answer, but watch Ada County and Canyon County -- big population centers with varied income levels; you could make a good case for both Cruz and Trump there.

Early results out of Idaho Falls and St. Anthony are absolutely awful for Trump -- but Rubio is splitting a lot of Cruz's vote share there.  Again, Mormon influence areas.  If I had to guess based on this early stuff, I'd say Cruz, but this will be fun.

Edit: Trump back up based on a solid lead in Payette County, the sort of area Trump needs.  Not an overwhelming performance, but not a bad one either.

I do, but I'm still staying up. Smiley. It's only 2 more hours.
