You'll see the same pattern play out wrt the Sanders Agenda that played out with the new deal. Large sections of it become sacred cows, with chipping away at the edges by reactionary folks. Esp if racial politics becomes involved.
That said, of course, this won't happen and wouldn't happen. Sanders agenda is a negotiating position, like all are. He's just starting from an ambitious place so that he gets a good deal.
