With Giuliani becoming President in 2005 after George Bush's assassination, America's Mayor instituted the popular National Healthcare Act. Combined with the institution of Treasury Secretary Baker's reinstitution of a five hundred dollar bill, an economic boom hit America at the price of some economic stability beginning in 2007. Now, unemployment stands at 5.2%.

Giuliani chose Fmr. Gov. Christine Todd Whitman as his Vice President. The Blue Dogs received some support from New Democrats, causing Bayh to win the primary. Many Democrats and Republicans are beginning to exchange parties, while a few are going to Gary Johnson and Jerry Brown, the latter of whom became Governor after Schwarzenegger declined to run again in 2006.
