For a while, I thought that Cruz might be the anti-Trump candidate. I think he has even bigger electability problems than Trump, but whatever floats your boat, Republicans.
They're both unelectable.

LOLno.

If cruz and trump are unelectable then who should he endorse
Kasich is unelectable in the primary.

He can force it to a brokered convention and win there
Establishment polticians like Kasich are part of the reason why people vote for Trump and Cruz.

He shouldn't do that weird thing with his voice. Otherwise the speech was good, certainly on content.

That's not an awful result for Trump.  Woodford County is sorta an exurb of Lexington, somewhat higher-income and more educated than the state as a whole.

It's not the sound of his voice that makes him "creepy" or "weird." IMO.
It's his character, and the fact that everyone in his life (co-workers, college friends, etc) find him "strange" and "unapproachable" in normal interaction.

but it doesn't at all jive with the +20 polls.

Could jive with +10, but +20 is a stretch.

When ProudModerate2 says "strange" and "unapproachable", what he really means is "an asshole".

Uh... about 5% of the vote is in. Let's not jump too quickly here...

Unofficial reports have him losing just about every major county in the state and some by significant margins.

Cruz is starting to pass Rubio on the betting sites for the overall nomination nod.

Eh?  It's pretty obvious many of his non-Democratic coworkers find him unpleasant, too...
That's true, but few Republican voters see this as a valid reason for themselves to dislike Cruz.

Well, you're probably a Democrat...

Has nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican.
Or being fat or skinny, black or white or green, or whatever ...
It's called just being honest.

If you listen to the interviews of past Cruz college friends/acquaintances, who describe Cruz from the past .... you can only come to the conclusion that Cruz is "strange" in conversation or to be around with.
Sweet and simple. Sorry you don't want to see it.

Small border county, should be Trump territory.
