Cruz seems to be doing roughly equally well in all three Kansas districts that have reported so far. This might mean that he'll win CD3 as well.

Perhaps, but I think KS-03 is far more suburban. I don't think it'll change much in the margin between Cruz and Trump, but I would think Rubio should do better there than the other three districts. Either way, Cruz should come out a big winner from Kansas.

CNN says Lewiston, Maine has Cruz winning 48%, Trump at 35%, Rubio at 9%.

ayy

Only a few votes in so far, but definitely not good for John Kasich.

At this point, it seems to be all rural counties.  No reason to think any of Wichita has come in or even anything as big as Topeka.

Remember that Marcobot was endorsed by Brownback and Pat Roberts. And TRUMP was endorsed by LePage.
Endorsements really are worthless this season.

What do you mean? Rubio is the real winner tonight. He wins by coming in third and being the anti-Trump/Cruz. From there, it's just a few short steps to the nomination. I can't wait to hear his victory speech tonight.

Maine is the odd child of New England. The population is exceedingly rural and highly eclectic. Demographically it is very similar to NH or VT, but politically there are substantial differences and Maine has shown a tendency to vote oddly.

I'm officially predicting that Cruz will win Maine. He had a huge presence in York county.

I'll give KY to Trump but otherwise I agree. 2 vs 2 wouldn't be that bad for Trump especially if he comes out with more delegates at the end of the night.

Maine really is an oddball of American politics. It had two Republican senators not to long ago, has an independent Senator, a governor who regularly makes gaffes yet got re-elected easily, and its a state that regularly gives third parties plenty of the vote. This election will be no exception.

Cruz wins Androscoggin County in ME...he likely wins the state.
Androscoggin County is Lewiston/Auburn.  Paul won it big in 2012, so it might not be indicative of anything.  But it's pretty clear Cruz is going to win Maine at this point.

Portland is about as hipster as it gets but the rest of the state may as well be its own country. Very little relation to other parts of New England IMO.

With 9% in from Maine, Cruz leads 46% to Trump 36.7%.

Trump generally under-performs in Caucuses, this isn't some sort of collapse.  LA will be more important, IMO.

I'll make a somewhat bold prediction:

Kansas, Maine, Louisiana - Cruz
Kentucky - Trump
