I'm undecided on 1932. All the others, I'd vote against him.

1944, due to the war and Dewey being pretty young and untested.

Yeah, but you know FDR was always going to win anyway, so I figure I'd cast my ballot for Dewey as a protest vote against a president who should have had the grace to step down four years earlier.

I'd vote for him for President all 4 times, plus when he ran for VP in 1920.

I don't know. I think he was a great war leader. Depends on what economic state I was in at the time.

1936, 1940, 1944.  Not sure about 1932.

All 4 times, but I think this question is aimed at Republicans and other party members, not Democrats.

If Roosevelt had resigned before the '44 election due to health reasons, it would have been hysterical to see the other side's reaction to President Henry Wallace lol.

Yeah, it would have been hysterical, all right... that son of a bitch would have been impeached.

I have great respect for Henry Wallace, so to talk of him being impeached makes me kind of mad, but it would not be out of the realm of possibility.

PB, I'm amazed. Why on earth do you like Henry Wallace? Is it because he was from Iowa? Wink

All of them, though 1940 could change depending on how the campaign was run.
