Any ideas what will happen in Alaska?

Trump probably wins.  I think Trump will clean up in the Mat-Su Valley (exurban Anchorage), the Republican heart of Alaska and home to Sarah Palin.  Rubio will run best in the state capital, Juneau.  Anchorage will vote more or less in line with the state.

But who knows, really?  Cruz could upset there if all the stars are aligned correctly.

From Nate Cohn on Twitter, Rubio does better in counties with more white college graduates:

Trump won big in counties that have a large share of whites without a high school degree:

I just checked the Super Tuesday results thread from four years ago, and back then Alaska didn't start posting any results until about 1:15am.

Alaska Dispatch News has a story about the nuts and bolts of the Alaska caucus, focusing mainly on the Anchorage area.  But they note that the caucus is being held in a dentist's office in Craig, a small community in the southeast:

Cruz leading in Travis County, TX now. Rubio might not win anything.

On that note, does anyone know where Rubio has/hasn't met the threshold?

Media should call Vermont already. There's no way Kasich can win.

At the moment, he's below the threshold in Alabama and Texas, and above it everywhere else.

Cruz did extremely well on election day in Texas.

Early voting:

Cruz 40.4%
Trump 28.4%
Rubio 18.2%
Kasich 4.3%
Carson 3.7%
Bush 2.2%

Election Day (reported so far):

Cruz 49.5% (+9.1%)
Trump 27.1% (-1.3%)
Rubio 12.1% (-6.1%)
Carson 5.1% (+1.4%)
Kasich 2.9% (-1.4%)
Bush 0.5% (-1.7%)

Cruz appears to have taken all 36 CDs, and is closing in on 50% in several. So far he is over 50% in only one, TX-10 which runs from Houston to Austin.

Note the above is based on the SOS website which doesn't have anything from Harris County yet, though Harris County has results reported.

Alaska should be closing now. Not sure when the results will come in, though.

Caucuses are finished in Alaska, but if it goes like it did four years ago, it may be over an hour before they report anything.  No entrance poll there, as the networks didn't do entrance polls in any of tonight's caucuses.

Hugely impressive win for Cruz in Texas.  Why do I get the feeling that Rubio won't see the same warm welcome in Florida?
