The Vice Presidency is a very important office in Atlasia. I believe that a debate between the Vice Presidential candidates is not only necessary but should also be held very soon. Let's not put this off.

Agreed, but we need to figure out who will be the VP on the Dibble/King ticket first.

I would certainly be willing to participate, but I don't believe that Harry has chosen a running mate yet.

A runningmate announcement is (hopefully) coming soon, by tomorrow night at the latest.  I currently have a person in mind, and if he doesn't want it, I have another person that I'll ask, and if she doesn't want it either, I have one more person to ask.  And if he doesn't want it either, than I have a final backup who's told me he'll do it if he must.

So, if you'll announce TexasGurl as your running mate, we'll all know she was a second choice. Tongue

Any ideas for the moderator? Presumably, Ernest, the moderator of the presidential debate, would have to participate.

I would note that Joe Republic and Akno have moderated senatorial debates quite well this election cycle, so perhaps one of them could do so here as well.

I've moderated a few debates in my time and I'm rather good at them.

Oh, excellent. I've only been around for a month, so I wouldn't have seen any of your debates.

One of my better debates was the Hughento vs. King debate. That'll show you how I run a debate and what type of moderator I am.

I think we should have some type of panel debate, perhaps with Colin, Joe Republic, and myself as moderator.

I'd be fine with that since I don't know if I would have the time to do it all by myself, considering finals are this week.

A running mate for Harry has been chosen.  We'll see an announcement pretty soon.

I was thinking the same thing at first but now it seems like that would be far too obvious.

I would like to try moderating.  I know I've never done it before, but I think I can be pretty unbiased.

I think you would be good at it.

We should also get another presidential debate up and running. I guess I could moderate that. Just give me a time to start it that the candidates agree on and I'll be alright.

I'm done moving at last, so...

Mondays and Wednesdays are out for me, because I have an evening class. *edit - the election is pretty darn close, so I can do it tomorrow evening*
