The only point of some sort of "real conservative" neocon ticket is to push the election into Clinton's hands  - who, after Libya, the neocons can be confident will be interventionist enough.

Clinton's foreign policy is just 'slightly' better than Dubya's, she is very much a neoconservative on foreign policy, no matter how hard she tries to deny it.

I would vote for Donald Trump over any ticket that has Tom Cotton on it. Fortunately there are more options, but Cotton scares me even more.

If Kristol succeeds in getting some non-no one to run, this would throw the race to the Dems.

Read the quote.  They are hoping Bloomberg gets in as well and takes from Clinton so they can throw it to the House with the neocon 3rd party ticket at least in 3rd in the EC.

I don't think that Bloomberg will run if Hillary is the nominee. Even if she is, I don't think that Bloomberg would pull that much from her (Sanders would be another story).
