Blair did the same thing with Corbyn a few months ago with the Labour leadership race and it did not work.

Well, it's behind a paywall so I doubt many Americans are going to hear him.

Most Sanders voters are probably too young to even know who Tony Blair is.  And of the Americans who actually have head of him, they're more likely to associate him with the Iraq War than anything else.  I doubt more than 10% of the American public even knows that he was the leader of the Labour Party lol

Which means that he supports Sanders. If he didn't then he'd keep his mouth shut or endorse Sanders outright.

This is huge. I think the majority of Clinton/Sanders swing voters were waiting until Tony Blair's sought-after endorsement before they made up their minds.

Thanks for convincing me, Tony Blair. We here in America definitely value your opinions.

If anything the 10% was generous.

Not to mention public ally and friend of GEORGE W. BUSH. Jesus, could Hillary get a worse endorsement?

I thought it was Nazarbayev whose entourage Blair was in.

That's true. Tony Blair is more aligned with people like d32123, which is why he hates Sanders and wants Clinton to win.

Oh, right. Blair and Karimov's special relationship doesn't extend past his time as PM now that I think about it.

Exactly. Not only that, I doubt they know anyone in the U.S. armed forces who was in the U.S. military, sacrificed during the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Blair won't make a difference in the polling here. He was needed in the 1990's because if not for Blair, the Tories would have probably been around until 2001, with a tired Tory Party.

If it wasn't for Tony Blair, the Labour party would be doing a lot better today.

Most Sanders voters are probably too young to even know who Tony Blair is. Nearly all Americans don't even know who Tony Blair is, regardless of age.  And of the Americans who actually have head of him, they're more likely to associate him with the Iraq War than anything else.  I doubt more than 10% of the American public even knows that he was the leader of the Labour Party lol

I've always assumed that the vast majority of Americans know nothing about British politics other than maaaaaaaaybe the Prime Minister's name.
