Anyone else think that the entrance polls are wrong and Trump will do worse in Clark County than the rest of the state? I mean, all of the first 3 states have shown big cities swing to Rubio and Trump is weaker there.

First results from Clark County now coming in.

They seem to reflect results from the rest of the state pretty well so far. No surprises.

Trump dominating states just proves the party is becoming a white centric, nationalist and populist party with its libertarian, conservative and moderate wings pretty much being expelled by the grassroots.

TRUMP is a moderate, a conservative, and a libertarian.  You have no idea what you're talking about lol

This statement alone proves how idiotic you are when it comes to ideologies...

You are just being blinded as usual by your irrational hatred of TRUMP.

Given the record turnout numbers, I would be so sure that it is the same people.

Show me issues where Trump is libertarian? Show me issues where he is moderate? Show me issues where he is conservative? You can't be all three.

Apparently Rubio is winning voters who want experience, because those extra two years make the difference.

Also, definition of irrational hatred: an intense feeling of opposition against an object for which there is no rational explanation

I do have a rational explanation and it's been stated before.

If anything, I'm actually surprised by just how well Trump did in Lincoln County.

What's weird - trump's numbers in the four primary states are pretty reflective of Romney's performance. And the media narrative is similar - If other candidates drop out and its just a one v. one, then that candidate will win.

Nobody said federal land ownership was the top issue among Nevada Republicans.  But it is an issue, especially once you get outside of Las Vegas.  It is enough of an issue that both the Cruz campaign and a PAC (I think the Club For Growth) was running TV ads about Trump's position on it.  If few Nevadans care about federal land ownership, there would be no reason to make those ads.

You said it's a "huge issue".  It isn't, and the places where it is make up about 10% of the state's overall population.

Are you now saying that the subject matters that candidates choose to talk about in their ads determines the importance of those issues to the voters?

No.  I'm saying that what candidates choose to talk about in their ads is based on what their internal polling shows to be meaningful to voters.  It wouldn't make sense to run TV ads on issues that voters don't care about.  That would just be wasting money.

Right, candidates have never wasted money going after the wrong message.

But I'm sure this particular issue proved to be #1 in the internal poll they evidently conducted in Eureka county.

Trump himself had the most apt response to the ads; "[Cruz] has an ad, something to do with I want to take away your land and I want to keep it in the federal government, and I don't even know what the hell they're talking about! (crowd laughs) ... I'm saying to myself, well, it's not a subject I know anything about, but it's a hell of an ad!"

Congrats on spending $25m targeting 10% of a state's population, Teddy.

Romney needs to endorse before Super Tuesday.

Who is he going to endorse? The robotic loser, the insane pariah, or the guy who's not getting any votes? (I suppose he could always endorse Carson or Trump.)
