I like watching how CNN called tonight a "strong second place showing for Rubio"

HOW can ANYONE spin this as a good result for Rubio? This was supposed to be his best early state, and he's getting flattened by over 20%...

BUT!! If you add his numbers to Cruz, Kasich, Carson, they add up to more than Trump! Rubio is the real winner! He is the inevitable GOP nominee!

Man, they're slow with this counting.  Imagine if the margin was actually close.  It would be a couple of days before they could make a call.

Trump victory speech:

"I get greedy greedy greedy! I love to grab money! Just grab grab grab! Now I'm going to get greedy for America, grab money for America!"

[and]

"I won college-educated, I won poorly-educated. I love the poorly-educated!"

Audience: YEAHHHHH!!!!!

Lol did he actually say all of this?
Sadly, Yes.

Politics is painful. I am stuck choosing between a rigged party with socially sensitive people whose opinions and values I disagree with and a party founded on mostly morons who easily get manipulated by spineless politicians who do nothing that they say they will, and in Trump's case, quite literally NOTHING. Trump is just Hillary Clinton on the Republican ballot. Time for me to start a cult.

The funny thing is, since Trump's numbers keep going up in Clark and Washoe, that might not even be true by the end of the night (morning?) Trump looks set to come close to, if not pass 50%...

If Cruz fades, I wonder what the chances Trump gets a clean sweep are? He has to be the favorite in all the states except Texas and maybe Virginia.

Cruz is spinning himself as the only candidate who can beat Donald Trump, while getting clobbered by him by 25 points at the same time.

And he's talking about Texas.

Basically, he's saying that he'll drop out after Super Tuesday if he doesn't do well.

Cruz doesn't give quite as good a third place victory speech as Rubio.

Sadly, Yes.

Not really.

He was talking about how Steve Wynn or some Vegas billionaire wanted to give him ten million dollars, and he turned them down, and contrasted that with his business career whre he was "greedy, he would get as much money as he could get."  But now he was going to be "greedy for America", presumably to get as much greatness as he can get.

The poorly educated bit, he was just rattling of demographies and saying he loved them.  It was kind of awkward but it wasn't like "I LOVE DUMB PEOPLE" the way RomneyEndorsementPo is probably spinning it right now.

He's ONLY getting 11.5% more than his ceiling. Clearly he's not inevitable.

For the Rubio side I'd be concerned that without Jeb in the race, the needle hardly moved.  One wonders what the results would have been with him running as well.  Not much difference probably.
