Older SC Republican contests haven't been very competitive. Bush won every county in 1988. Going back to 1980 only eliminates Dorchester.

It went for Gingrich in 2012, Huckabee in 2008, and Bush in 2000. I can't find the 1996 map.

It voted for Dole in 1996.

No really competitive Dem primaries in South Carolina recently, so the list of counties to back each winner since 1992 is long.

Abbeville
Allendale
Anderson
Barnwell
Calhoun
Charleston
Cherokee
Chester
Chesterfield
Clarendon
Colleton
Darlington
Dillon
Dorchester
Edgefield
Fairfield
Florence
Georgetown
Greenville
Greenwood
Hampton
Jasper
Kershaw
Lancaster
Laurens
Lee
Lexington
Marion
Marlboro
Newberry
Orangeburg
Pickens
Richland
Saluda
Spartanburg
Union
Williamsburg
York

Going back to 1988 crosses off Anderson, Pickens, Laurens, Union, and York. 1984 crosses off at least Charleston and Clarendon.
