These "results" are totally meaningless, people.

Absentee votes aren't meaningless.

Incompetent bum Jake Tapper finally asked the question - why aren't they going after Trump, why are we even talking about 2nd or 3rd place "wins".

It really speaks to how much Trump has been utterly destroying the rest of the field that people are treating placing nineteen points behind him (as Kasich did in New Hampshire) as "wins".

If Rubber Ducky gets more praise for "overperforming expectations", I think I'll vomit. Imagine if Sanders got the same treatment from the media? They'd be calling him the presumptive nominee.

Exit polls have them going heavily for Cruz.

Absentee/early voting would not be reflected in an exit poll. Great news for TRUMP!

The network exits usually include a telephone poll that reflects the early vote, if it is expected to be significant.

Local coverage on WIS is being interspersed with coverage of an active shooter situation at a local mall.

Not really. He mostly gets ignored. No one is saying that he's "surging" because he got a close second in Nevada.

Cruz has the early lead in Abbeville and Laurens Counties.  Possibly religious conservative strength?  That could help him in a Bible Belt state like SC.

Did people forget about the entrance poll from... four hours ago? Let's hold off on the panic attacks for now.

That being said, Carson coming in fourth would be the icing on the cake. Might as well not drop out with that momentum. He's right behind Comeback Kid Rubio after all!
