Also, what's up with this... I could have sworn there were several other dropped candidates on the Republican side...

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=229608.0

Yeah, there was like 14 people who were still on the ballot... did they just remove those candidates from the ballots before they were printed (no mention of doing something like this on the P2016 website)?

Since everyone just suspended their campaigns instead of fully ending them, they stay on whatever ballots they filed  to be on.

So why are they not included on CNN, the State Election Commission, or the AP link? I mean, CNN is understandable, but for New Hampshire, AP included every candidate, even the ones that dropped out.

Yeah, I want an answer to this.

I think it's because they're no longer running, but AP has all the candidates that were on the ballot, but then again it doesn't make sense.

Is there anything preventing someone from voting in the Republican primary today and the Democratic primary next week?

I don't think they did, not really. It's been said before : 5PM is the hour when they get the rough results of their exit poll, so they are processing them right now, and should be providing us with some figures among demographics in 10-15 min.

They're too focused on Nevada to worry about SC.

Yeah, I would say good news for Rubio being that immigration is his weakest issue.

Hard to imagine many of those 45% late deciders went for Trump considering what has been happening in the last week.

In South Carolina, shabbat ends at 6:46 PM. Who came up with the idea that voting on Saturday until 7 PM is acceptable? Not that there are many Orthodox Jews in South Carolina afaik, but this still disenfranchises them.

I don't think there are many now, but South Carolina actually had the largest Jewish population of anywhere in the country until the 1830s; they were mostly Sephardim. Charleston has a pretty prominent place in American Jewish history.

In Iowa didn't Trump only get 11% of the late deciders? If so that doesn't bode well...
