PJN as me and my friend decided that voting on media-pumped party would be great start for them to create some alternative for PO-PiS. So it was purely strategic vote. Party itself also was disgusting but hey, lesser evil. At this time I believed that there is no possible to impose alternative for the "liberal democracy" so at least there should be political plurality.

Why?
I always wonder why would anybody vote on pirates? I am just curious.

because i agreed with their policies the most (and had significant enough disagreements with left, green, and spd policies that i didn't want to give them a strategic vote)

I remember voting for Mel Carnahan over Vince Schoemehl in the August 1992 primaries.

I don't remember casting any votes before that, but I was 21 1/2 by then, so I surely must have voted at some point.

2014 Florida Republican Primary. Voted for Rick Scott, Atwater, Bondi, and Putnam in the primary for the row offices-they all won. I voted for one of the three candidates for FL-22, and I don't even remember the name. All I know is that Paul Spain had no chance and would end up running in FL-18 at some point (and of course he did) and the other woman running literally spent the whole time campaigning on how the past nominee (whose campaign I worked on) was "a nice guy in a suit" who couldn't beat Lois Frankel.

I was in sixth grade during the 2004 presidential election, and I voted for Bush in a mock election (and he won, just like IRL.)

The first official election I voted in was a local election in May 2011, just four months after my 18th birthday.  I can't remember if there was a seat on the school board that was up, or if there was just a local millage.

And as for state/national elections, my first was in 2012.  I voted for Mitt Romney in the 2012 Michigan GOP primary for president, and I also voted in the August state primary.  In that one, I voted for Pete Hoekstra in the GOP Senate primary.  In my state House district, the incumbent (who is from my hometown and I've participated frequently with in local GOP functions) was term-limited, so there was a contested primary.  My candidate in that primary lost.  In the general election, I voted for Romney again, plus every Republican that was on the ballot (including the winner of the state House primary).  There were a few Democrats who were running unopposed, and I voted for most of them as well.

November 1976. The election was especially interesting since I was taking a Political Science class entirely devoted to the election. Our state-by-state term paper was due election day morning. Our class as whole amazed the professor by predicting a much closer election than most pollsters or pundits.

In early 2002 I voted on some Bismarck, ND bond issue while still in high school.

I voted for Congress and Governor (Walter Mondale for Senate) in 2002 and my first presidential vote for John Kerry in 2004.

I'm pretty sure the fact that it was lowered to 18 was a major reason why McGovern performed so well...unless you are saying that you were 21 in 1972, and you missed the cutoff in 1968?

2011 referendums in Italy, aka the first act of Berlusconi's downfall. I still have fond memories about that day.
