The first time I voted was the 2010 midterms.  Back then I was basically a straight-ticket Democrat and even backed future turncoat Tim Sheldon.

My first presidential election was 2012, and I voted for Jill Stein. Tongue

What about you guys?

2020 general elections (possibly primaries, depending on what the MA laws will be in 2020).

2004 4th1st grade mock election for George W. Bush (R-TX).
If that doesn't count, then November 8, 2016.

Or April 26, 2016, if that counts.

November 2012 - shamefully voted 3rd party because Obama clearly didn't need my help to win the state.

Uh, I don't think mock elections count, otherwise it was probably my 2008 vote for Obama (lol) in the Dutch high school American presidential mock election, which was won by Obama with 96% of the vote or so.

Cast my first real vote on September 12, 2012 in the last Dutch general election, for the Libertarian Party.

2006, for Eliot Spitzer, Hillary Clinton, and Anthony Weiner.

I didn't care about any of the other elections tbh.

The first mock election I did was for the 2008 Mayoral elections. For some bizare reason (I still remember) I gave my first preference vote to Socialist Worker front group and splinter from the Trotskyist-Islamist (yes, really) RESPECT - UNITY coalition, the Left List and their candidate Lindsey German. My second preference was for Brian Paddick of the Lib Dems.

(lol)

2003 as a non-property tax paying college student voting to raise the property taxes for local residents in order to increase funding for the local public K-12 schools after drastic budget cuts signed by Tim Pawlenty.

The locals got the polling place moved from the university campus to some town hall out in the middle of nowhere to suppress the college vote the day of the election... so the College Democrats hired buses to bus students out there... hundreds of them... the ladies ran out of registration forms and were visibly upset about it.

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING CHINTZY REPUBLICANS.
