Trump was right. He hurt himself with establishment voters in South Carolina but he was never good with them either way.

Calling out Bush and saying 9/11 happened under his watch is unprecedented in American politics.
Except all the other times Trump did it in past debates...

Yeah that's my thinking as well.

Most of Trump's base already thinks that the Iraq war was an unmitigated disaster.

Cruz and Rubio at least talk passionately about policy. Trump just goes "there are 106 year olds on social security! waste, fraud, abuse! china, mexico" lol

This crowd is way too establishment. Booing Trump just add much as it applauds Rubio? This is madness.

Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post is already declaring Rubio's winning. Does anyone else see this? Personally I think he's not even been a factor and sounds over rehearsed. But to be fair I've always thought that and never been a fan of his.

Kasich: I don't want to get into fighting in a debate.

Kasich got the last word over Bush, even if his voice cracked a little.

His family answer was pretty good, I thought.

Is it me, or did everyone else just have flashes of John Kasich as a Muppet for a few seconds?

Yeah Rubio came out the gate with something that was very obviously a prepared line, and I've just been tuning him out ever since.  I'd be surprised if I'm the only one.

Kasich v Bush?  I think Kasich won that.  Might be the first battle he's won.

Kasich seems to be doing a bit above average Kasich level tonight.

Good grief, where is the popcorn when I need it!!  I am about 8 minutes behind watching it so I'm not commenting on the thread (spoiler alert reasons!).  I do need popcorn, especially that Iraq/Bush family squabble.

Bush is just terrible. Hope his campaign crashes and burns after tonight.

I want to hack my power chord in two every time Jeb speaks tonight.

Trump attacking W. Bush ... Is that a prudent tactic?

"Prudent" was H. W not W

Calling out Bush and saying 9/11 happened under his watch is unprecedented in American politics.

If he wants to go further, there's this. The FBI had Zacarias Moussaoui in custody and knew that he wanted to fly a plane into the World Trade Center.

One of Kasich's better showings so far. Carson might as well not be here.

Kasich, Cruz, and Rubio seem to be doing alright tonight. Bush would probably be doing better if he could get through sentences without stuttering. Carson and Trump are kind of hard to watch.
