I think Carson is the wildcard here. Even if he gets 2-9% of the vote, that is support that Trump and Cruz need..

I don't accept the premise that most of Carson's support would go to Trump and Cruz. I suspect it will go all over the place myself.

If he does poorly in SC he might drop out. Not necessarily saying he will or should, however.
