I realize he will not have enough experience to successfully run in 2008.  But what about 2012 or 2016...  Does he have the potential to run for President?

I have to say no. Lacks charisma, politics not ideal for Dem primary.

And of course on top of it he's a Senator. They've been electorally hot lately..

He's a rising star in the Senate.  He could become a big figure in national politics.

He's pro-life so I'd say that disqualifies him, but if he switched on the issue he certainly wouldn't be the first Democrat to do so and then run for President. In that case he might have a shot.

I don't believe that senators are neccesarily electorally cursed, although there are a few things associated with them that are, one is having a very long record of mostly partisan voting (the case with Kerry) or occupying any type of leadership position (the #1 thing screwing Frist)

He doesn't lack charisma at all.  He's a very good candidate, very well-liked here in Arkansas.  I think he has a great chance for presidential success in 2012 or 2016!

Sure he does. If he could get himself elected Governor, then even better. Who doesn't love a former Governor of Arkansas.

I don't mind Pryor, but he does not have near-term national potential.  He should stick with state positions and gain a better reputation.
