Sen. Chris Dodd (CT) no
Sen. Ben Nelson (NE) only on a centrist unity ticket
Sen. Bill Nelson (FL) has his own reelection problems
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (KS) no
Gov. Mike Easley (NC) most likely of this list but not saying much
Gov. Ted Kulongski (OR) no

REPUBLICAN
Sen. Gordon Smith (OR) very unlikely
Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) not now
Sen. George Voinovich (OH) funny one
Sen. John Ensign (NV) probably not
Sen. John Thune (SD) 2012 or 2016
