The governor approaches the platform as "The Star Spangled Banner" plays.  As he reaches it, the music slowly fades out.

Good evening, I've come before y'all tonight to announce my bid for reelection.  I have been steadily working toward the goals I set in my last campaign and would like to continue that progress.  At this very moment, my budget task force is compiling the information that I'll need to cut the deficit.  I hope to accomplish more great things in my second term.

I ask for your trust, your support, and your vote.  Together we can continue on a course of progress for the Southeast!  Good night, God bless the Southeast, and God bless Atlasia.

The governor leaves the platform to strains of "God Bless America" and a standing ovation.

I don't always agree with you, but you've been fair and decent as governor. You will get my vote. Good luck!
