-When will the first serious poll of 2020 candidates be released?
-Who might it include?
-What will the numbers look like?
FTR, the earliest 2012 poll came out in April, and looked like this:
Christie: 21%
Jeb: 17%
Huckabee: 17%
Santorum: 12%
Marco: 10%
Ryan: 7%
Rand: 4%
Jindal: 3%

PPP polled the 2016 Democratic primary race back in September 2011:

So we're already overdue.  I'd imagine that we'll get a 2020 poll as soon as one or the other of the two major parties has someone clinch their 2016 nomination.  Last time around, there was no Democratic contest, and we knew that Obama couldn't run again in 2016.  This time, you've got to wait and see who the '16 nominees are going to be before bothering with 2020 polling.
