Liberals view Hillary as someone who can consolidate the gains Obama has made.  There is a degree of practicality to this from a liberal point of view.

Wyden is one of the most pro-business Democratic senators.  You can do a lot better than that terrible thread title.

Pathetic.

Remember when Sherrod Brown and Al Franken became corporatist establishment shills?

I'm not entirely surprised given Wyden's support for the TPP. He's still a massive FF for his views on the NSA (as is Martin Heinrich, who I am pretty sure also endorsed Hillary).

Someone who voted to fast track TPP was probably never going to support Bernie. Maybe the actually liberal Senator from Oregon, Merkley, might endorse Bernie.

Are you dealing with facts or are you just being a hack for no reason?

I don't remember your analysis being so vapid, perhaps I had you confused with someone else.  Nobody in this thread other than you called any of the three Senators any of those things, but if you don't see a difference between the economics of Wyden versus, say, Sherrod Brown, why are you even posting on a political forum?  The Yahoo comments section will do you nicely.

Wyden knows that Hillary is electable, Bernie is not. Bernie does not want to talk about foreign policy and the future of the U.S. military.

Yeah. It's unfortunate, but even with all her many negatives, including an FBI investigation hanging over her head, Clinton is still the more electable of the two. Way to go, Dems...

Sanders supporters generally regard any progressive position she takes as posturing, while apparently every neoliberal view she endorses is suppose to be her genuine view.

Her "opposition" to the "gold standard" isn't fooling anyone. Especially not the US Chamber of Commerce.

I love how the biggest arguments against Hillary are "some people said she did bad things, and she's under investigation because of those accusations." Hooray for witch hunts.

Well, she's perceived as more electable, but polls show Bernie is more electable.

She's also terrible on the issues.

Great endorsement! Ron Wyden is definitely among the top Senators, and I appreciate him proudly standing with TPP.
