Hmm let's see who is right about who libertarians support. Me or the Trumpites here

If I'm wrong I'll admit I'm wrong.

My support goes like this: Paul --> Cruz --> Johnson (or Libertarian nominee).

Rand Pauls is not a true libertarian. His positions are too conservative. What turns me off is his social conservatism. Cruz is similar.

I remember back when I was like 16 and thought of myself as a vaguely libertarian Democrat. If the 2008 economic panic hadn't happened I might still be there.

I voted "Not a Libertarian" but I would be for Johnson otherwise, followed by Paul.

Trump's economic and foreign policy views aren't libertarian either

The one who is closest to TRUE libertarianism is Gary Johnson

But what do I know? I'm apparently neither libertarian, Republican or a purist

TRUMP

EDIT: Real libertarians support TRUMP.
I don't think you know what a real libertarian is. Real libertarians aren't pro closing down mosques, deporting 11 million people, banning a religious group from entering this country, reauthorizing the patriot act, eminent domain, executive orders, government healthcare to name a few.

I'm in the same boat. I was quite libertarian economically in 2008. I've become more moderate since then.

When I was 5, I didn't know what "libertarian" or "economically" meant. I guess y'all are a step ahead of me Tongue

Depends on who you ask lol, my definition is a LOT different than what DeadPrez (who is a purist) or what apparently Ljube or Sanchez believe, and then Goldwater and ElectionsGuy have their own interpretations so lol it's in the air.

Sort of a libertarian neocon with some socially conservative views, so I voted.

I picked "Other" because I support Rubio, but out of these, Cruz, followed by Paul and then Johnson.

Yea I wasn't sure if I should vote here because I'm libertarian on economics and foreign policy but purists would hate me calling myself that with other issues taken into account

How so? I'm a libertarian at home and a neocon abroad because both support freedom and democracy.

Neocons are fairly socially liberal.

Yep. I'm opposed to the death penalty, support greater immigration, and think that gay marriage should be legal, so that makes me fairly socially liberal for a Republican.

Then why Cruz?
