The areas in play are DC and Guam

Not much campaigning is going on in Guam beyond ads, but all four candidates are doing everything they can to make their case. Fremont and Dewey are aiming for the significant black vote, Romney aims for the beltway and K-Street itself, and Goldwater is campaigning on giving DC representation...and lowering taxes.

This poll will close sometime on Saturday.

And now, it is closed.

Results:

Barry Goldwater (32.4%)
John C. Fremont (29.4%)
Tom Dewey (23.5%)
Mitt Romney (14.7%)

DC: Barry Goldwater

GUAM: Barry Goldwater

By a very narrow margin, Senator Goldwater managed to win D.C. voters by emphasizing, well against what the party establishment wants, getting D.C. proper representation. That was enough to narrowly defeat Fremont, whose civil rights plank obviously struck a chord with the high black population.

And thanks to his hawkish record, Goldwater easily managed to win Guam.
