The Des Moines Register's endorsements (for both democratic and republican side) will be announced on "a Sunday this month".
So it might be announced tomorrow, on January 24 or January 31.

I know some of you aren't old enough to remember this but they endorsed Clinton over Obama in 2008.

If they endorsed Sanders this time, I would be very surprised.

Honestly, I feel like they'd think that an endorsement of Sanders would be less controversial. Think of what r/sandersforpresident would do if they endorsed Hillary.

I hope it's Sanders, but it will probably be Clinton.
On the Republican side, probably Rubio.

I think Clinton and Rubio, and it won't be tomorrow. They'll probably wait until next Sunday because of tomorrow's debate,.

I'm sure the editors of the Des Moines Register are quaking in their boots over Bernie redditors.

Probably Clinton, though I'm not so sure about Rubio on the Republican side. From what I've read he just seems to recite the same talking points over and over again, and doesn't do much to display any depth of knowledge on a subject. If that happened in his meeting with the editorial board, I could definitely see them choosing some other establishment candidate.

I find it hard to believe that they will endorse Rubio after all the heat he took about ignoring the state.

either of Bush or Christie on the Republican side, but I agree with this post, as I think endorsing Bush is more likely.

I doubt Bush is going to be endorsed. At this point everybody knows that endorsing Jeb! isn't going to do anything. Trump, Cruz, Rubio and Christie seem to be the only serious candidates for the nomination, and therefore DMR will endorse one of the latter three, and likely one of the latter two.

I can't imagine they'll waste their endorsement on Bush at this point. Christie might have a chance.
