What would you choose as you last meal on death row?

For me:

*Grilled halibut with lime
*Penne pasta with marinara sauce, duck, mushrooms, and garlic
*Some kind of beer, maybe a Japanese microbrew
*White chocolate mousse with baked cherries

I'd have a feast.

*A Texas Bacon Patty Melt from Waffle House.
*A 24 Pack of Cherry Pepsi.
*10 Golden Wings
*A box of neopolitan ice cream.
*A slice of Pecan Pie.
*Two packs of Marlboro Reds 100s (I hear they allow that).

"Large" boneless from Buffalo Wild Wings, a very deep dish pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon among other things, a bacon burger--doubled, a twelve-or-more pack of Blue Moon Belgian White, and a pack of Marlboro Black Reds.

I think we've done this thread before, but I'll try to recall as much as I listed in the previous one, or make this one similar.

*A Chicago-style deep dish pizza with hamburger, banana peppers, tomatoes, and onions
*A double cheeseburger
*Three fried chicken breasts
*A dozen mozzarella cheese sticks
*Chili cheese fries
*Large French Silk Pie Blizzard from Dairy Queen
*One bottle each of Coca-Cola, Cherry Coke, Dr Pepper, and Mr Pibb/Pibb Xtra
*One glass of unsweetened iced tea

OK warden, I'm ready.

This sounds awfully close to what I'd get, though I'd probably add onion rings, a loaded baked potato, a steak taco or quesadilla, and nix the Mr. Pibb and Cherry Coke in favor of cream and orange soda.

I'd have a crawfish boil for myself and the rest of inmates.

Grilled salmon over mashed potatoes and gravy with a dribbling of truffle oil. Maybe some green beans on the side. To drink, a mango lassi in the summer or eggnog in the winter.

For desert, Ben and Jerry's Phish Food with cookie dough chunks and a drizzling of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

If I were competent enough to somehow be on death row for my crimes, I'd probably be competent enough to somehow use my last meal as a weapon. I'm trying to figure that out, however.

Well you could order a porterhouse, cayenne pepper, a peanut butter sandwich and some sort of shellfish. Take the steak bone and fashion it into a shank, find a way to dry out the pepper (since last meals are served a day beforehand I think) to grind down into a powder to blow in the person's face, lather the bone-shank with peanut butter and fish stuff (just in case the person is allergic), and bingo, last meal assault kit!

Appetizers

Calamari
Mussels
Garlic Bread

Main Meal

5 pieces of Old Chicago Deep Dish Pizza with Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and Roasted Peppers
Shepherd's Pie (using lamb, not beef)
Corn on the Cob
Beef Ravoli

Dessert

2 Pieces of German Chocolate Cake
3 Scoops of Cookie Dough Ice Cream
And a small sampling of human flesh

Drinks

1 Glass of Cherry Coke
2 Glasses of Sweetened Iced Tea
1 Glass of Cherry Limeade
2 Glasses of Red Wine (Yes, I know I'm underage, but who cares? I'm about to be executed!)

I'd probably fast for 4-5 days prior to this so I could actually eat everything.

Too hard to narrow it down to one meal, but lots of stuff already named would be good. Maybe a bunch of those suckers with the tootsie roll center so I could stretch the "last meal" into an experiment on how many licks it takes to get to the center? Hmmm...maybe milk so that my first meal would also be my last? Hmmm...

If I were competent enough to somehow be on death row for my crimes, I'd probably be competent enough to somehow use my last meal as a weapon. I'm trying to figure that out, however.

Hey, that's exactly where my brain went, too!

I guess this is a fascinating personality test: does your brain go to imagining great foods, negative thoughts due to your implied impending demise, or finding a way to cheat justice?

I suppose the first group is normal people, the second group is philosophical people, and the third is...uh...mastermind criminals. Huh. Maybe my analysis is wrong, though (kind of like the death penalty itself).

Salad with ranch dressing, bacon bits and crotones, a New York Strip Steak with a side of Spaghetti Marinera along with a nice bottle of red wine and maybe top it all off with a last cigarette for good measure.

Tough choice ... I'd narrow it down to these options (one breakfast, one dinner ... so hard to pick):

Option 1: Swedish pancakes with hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage ... throw in an orange juice and allow me to spike the sh^t out of it, too.

Option 2: Medium-well done steak (yeah, I know), mashed potatoes, baked corn, dinner rolls with butter and a glass of 19 crimes syrah (red wine).

Apparently Texas abolished the last meal tradition after a guy ordered the following:

"Two chicken-fried steaks with gravy and sliced onions, a triple-patty bacon cheeseburger, a cheese omelet with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, a bowl of fried okra with ketchup, a pound of barbecued meat with half of a loaf of white bread, a portion of three fajitas, a meat-lover’s pizza (topped with pepperoni, ham, beef, bacon, and sausage), a pint of Blue Bell, a serving of ice cream, a slab of peanut-butter fudge with crushed peanuts, and a serving equivalent to three root beers"

And then declared he was not hungry Tongue
