Patrick Buchanan because if not mistaken, he is anti-neo-conservative.

Of these I voted Nader, and since a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush, I guess I voted for Bush. Oops! Hagelin sounded interesting, but there is something about him too fringe. What was his platform?

The Prohibition Party is correct that alcohol is the most dangerous, but criminalizing it will only create new problems.

I'd vote for Nader, NOT for the Green Party.. Or Natural Law, but they're a little too weird for me.

Patrick Buchanan because if not mistaken, he is anti-neo-conservative.

Decide for yourself:

*Note, it's perfectly reasonable to agree with some of these, I'm just pointing them out.

“To me, abortion is the greatest evil on the American continent since slavery,”

"Q: Would you be comfortable with a homosexual as president of the US?
A: I would not be comfortable. Someone who is an out of the closet homosexual who supports the gay rights agenda, nope. I wouldn’t vote for him, and I would oppose him with everything I had, and I would not be comfortable with him."

"I oppose the gay rights agenda in its entirety."

"No, I’m not in favor of a national health system established by the federal government. I’m strongly against the Hillary care-the type of national takeover of something like 7% of gross national product."

"As President I will support tuition vouchers that can be redeemed at all schools--public and private, secular and religious-that have no government strings attached."

"The Second Amendment guarantees the individual right to own, possess, and use personal firearms, and as President I will ensure that this right is not compromised."

"The Buchanan tax plan:

    * Exempt the first $35,000 of income, then reduce the taxes on the remainder to a flat 16% rate
    * Encourage personal generosity over public subsidy by retaining charitable giving deductions"

"We cannot continue to allow illegal immigration. A country that loses control of its borders is not a country. The Constitution of the United States obligates the government to protect the states from foreign invasion. If we can send an army halfway around the world to defend the borders of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, why can’t we defend the borders of the United States? I will build a security fence. We will seal the borders of this country cold."

Thanks for the information but this is why I would never vote for a third party candidate. However, the flat tax rate sounds interesting.

I am talking about outside of the Fantasy election board.

Of course, when it comes to the Fantasy election board, I am a damn proud member of a 1st class party - not 3rd like some would want you to think. Grin

Has anyone thought of voting under "Other' for Monica Moorehead the Worker's World Candidate? She is the most extreme you can get. her party fights capitalism.

In real life, I doubt I'd ever vote third party because that could swing an election to a conservative Republican.

In this hypothetical poll, I would definitely vote for Nader. Second choice would be the Socialist candidate.

This is why Nader is running as an Indie this time around, and why I don't think we should discount him as a factor yet.
