Mark Warner, though I'd settle for Bayh.  I think those are the only two that can win (under any circumstances).  Pick another qualified, intelligent, moderate, down-to-earth person for your running mate:  Blanche Licnoln, Mary Landrieu, Bill Nelson, and Mike Easley--it really is a once-in-a-lifetime ticket.  If Hillary wins the nod, I'm not voting:  It's just a way for Republicans to belittle all of us, plus she's pretty mediocre.

Warner, but I would settle for Bayh.  Under certain circumstances Edwards would be ok.

Are we really going to nominate a divorced guy?

Don't be scared of the opposition because who ever wins the Democratic nomination will be subject to accusations of flip-flopping and "you're only saying this because..."-attempts of undermining the candidate's credibility. You don't really think that having a divorce will ruin Feingold's candidacy any more than Warner's lack of experience, the latter having only served one term as governor. But if you're more worried about playing by the opposition's rules, I can guarantee you that they weren't designed to have your side win!

If I were American, I'd vote Bayh - though I'd be happy enough if Warner won

I'll pick Warner.

Those Hillary supporters that those genius pundits who know the Democratic Party so well predict are coming out in swarms! I guess a Hillary victory is imminent!

If Warner and Bayh both run, I bet they'll just split the moderate vote, and someone like Hillary or worse will get the nomination.

Lookin' forward to four more years, myself...

Feingold would have a good shot if he did not get a divorce. I don't think he can win now, but I voted for him anyway.

I voted Bayh, but I really like Edwards, too. Bayh has the credentials; Edwards has the vision and charisma. I have not been convinced that Warner has what it takes.

I will absolutely vote for any of these over the Republican nominee. Only if congress goes Dem in 2006 would I consider the Republican nominee.

Oh what? Because she has only one vote in this poll you decide to get sarcastic? I don't think this poll would be considered a good reflection of the eligible, likely Democratic Primary voters.

Warner or Bayh, they're both fairly moderate. And not from anywhere close to New England.
