On one hand, Miami of that era really was something impressive because they invented a new style of play and a new type of on-the-field personality. But by the mid 90s it was pretty obvious that everybody was copying there style (Bowden for instance) and now having players with clearly visible tattoos and guys like Aaron Hernandez makes me wonder if that era of Miami football is the progenitor of all of that.
