If Bush is below Rubio, Bush is probably finished.

It would be a big deal and get a lot of media. But I predict Rubio will do it. He had a lot of good buzz for most of the quarter and I suspect the reason he has been missing so many votes and not doing retail campaigning in the early states is because he has been doing a lot of fundraising, both events and working the phones. Coming in at number one for the four 'establishment' guys will send a big signal that he is "The One"

Carson campaign says they raised about $23 million:

UPDATE: But note that the original story in The Hill being referenced by the Daily Kos post linked in the OP of this thread speculates that he'll end the quarter with only ~$5.5 million cash on hand.

Carson started the quarter with $11m so if that is true his burn rate is over 100%. And as the money coming in has likely declined along with his polling he could be going broke fast. Probably explains his campaign shakeup.

It looks like Sanders announced 1 million contributions on the final day of the 3rd quarter (September 30th), 2 million contributions on December 16th, and 2.3 million contributions on December 20th. Campaigns make heavy pushes in the last week of the quarter, so he could end with as high as even 2.5 or 2.6 million contributions. If we assume an average donation of $25 and 1.4-1.6 million contributions this quarter, he could actually end with somewhere between $35-$40 million.

DOMINATING: Clinton raises $37 million Q4 for her campaign and an additional $18 million for the Democratic Party!

Truly impressive, considering that Clinton, unlike Sanders, does not rely on the donations of rich college students with no expenses who are living off their parents, but instead on hard-working minorities, women and olds, who are struggling to make ends meet. Truly inspirational!

And unlike Sanders, who has disgustingly and selfishly attacked the Democratic Party and blamed the DNC for his campaign's failures, Clinton has raised eighteen million for fellow Democrats!! She understands that if we truly want a political revolution in this country, it will require Democrats winning across the board, rather than just relying on a cult of personality to win the White House.

That is impressive haul for Clinton. 8 years ago she raised $27m in q4 2007, Obama raised $23.5m  Maybe she outpaced Bernie. I suspect if they raised more they would announce today to beat her in the news cycle.

So, according to the Clinton campaign they raised 37 million dollars. Also according to the Clinton campaign, Sanders raised more than Clinton. So Sanders raised more than 37 million dollars, according to the Clinton campaign? It makes sense, as he is receiving tons of donations.
35-40 million includes numbers that are more than 37 million. It looks like Sanders may have received more money than Hillary, which would be a big thing.

So she raised $55 million. That's great. Bernie might have raised more money for his campaign than she did for hers but she's done more for the Democratic party than he'll ever do.

The topline(and slightly misleading) 55 million number is what the media is running with for Clinton. I doubt Sanders will beat that.

Surprised Sanders campaign hasn't released their number yet, especially if it is more than Clinton's $37M. Beating her campaign number is what will get good press. Beating her DNC number isn't expected and not important for buzz, although would be important if he wants to actually start getting Establishment endorsements.

What exactly does the 15 Million for the Democratic party mean?  Did she just give some of the money her campaign raised to the DNC, or hold fundraisers specifically for the DNC, or what?

She asked people who had reached the donation limit to instead donate more to the DNC and other state Democratic parties.

Sanders tweeted out something yesterday before midnight that made it sound like they were close to one million donations just on the 31st. Though, that is an impressive number from Clinton and will be tough to beat.

The $37 million is the number that will probably be thrown around as "the" 4th quarter number for Sanders to beat, and in the end I think he will have beaten it by a few million. This is a surprisingly large haul for Clinton though considering her 3rd quarter numbers.

The Sanders campaign says it will be releasing its numbers tomorrow. Depending on his numbers, he may end the year with more cash on hand than Clinton.

If I was running things at Sanders HQ, I'd want to try to wait until the next news cycle starts on Monday to announce the numbers. Of course, this is assuming that the Sanders campaign actually raised even more than Clinton's camp... but maybe they didn't.

94% of Clinton's donations were $100 or less and 60% were from women. Pretty impressive.

I approve of your trolling here Tongue I think I'll use this next time I get into it with a Sanderista

I think based on the number of contributions/average donation, Sanders raised about 30-35 million $.

Though I said 35-40 before, I also wouldn't be surprised if he was actually closer to $45 million. I guess this'll look stupid though if he ends up being out raised by Clinton.

Why is that funny? I think it is rather impressive for a candidate like him. He's the second best fundraiser of the season. Not bad if you ask me. Yes, it pales in comparison to Clinton's $55 million ($37 of which is for her campaign), but still impressive.
