Hopefully this is the start of the culling of the field.

RIP, FF.

I had him down as the least likely to drop out of the 0-1%ers, mainly because he had the most to offer (as the token hawk in the race).

Curious to see who his home-state allies land with, and if this frees up some senatorial endorsements for Rubio.

So, can we finally get rid of the undercard debates now?

You want a warmongering hawk for a Republican VP? Didn't we already have that?

But what about Huckabee, Santorum and Pataki? We have these awesome 3!

Trump has suggested (and amazingly he has a very good point) that Pataki (or anyone) who has failed to qualify for any state primary ballots, should not be allowed to appear in a debate.

But even without that rule, at this point the debates could go back to the old rules of letting anyone in who averages 1% or more in national polls. That would put 10 people on stage and forego the undercard (Santorum, Pataki, and Gilmore stay home). However, I think the media outlets like the undercard ratings so they will probably stay.

Pataki and Gilmore technically don't even count as candidates now since they haven't made it on most ballots yet. So that leaves us with 11 candidates now.

An interesting question. I can imagine he and Graham making a joint endorsement right before the SC primary to try and maximise any influence. Not Trump or Cruz obviously. Probably not Bush (McCain has too many SC 2000 flashbacks). Also Rubio is too much of a whippersnapper who is too much of a "young man in a hurry" so I would say Christie (assuming he does well enough in NH to survive).

Yeah, I think Christie too. Infact, I still think Christie can win this!

Not surprising. Graham may face a tougher primary challenge in 2020 or 2026. He may endorse Rubio. Pataki, Santorum, Gilmore should drop out as well.

This turns the Freaky Fourteen into the Terrifying Thirteen. (Or maybe Organization XIII would be better)

That works well since they're all nobodies anyway.

We all did. He tried to single-handedly take down libertarianism, and for that, RIP FF - you fought the brave fight and brought us Trump comedy gold along the way. What a ride!
