I know we have like way too many of these going on right now, but idc really so I thought it would be interesting to see one that goes from the present into the future instead of the past into the present.

Therefore I present:

Another Day in the US of A - Interactive Story Timeline

2016 kicks off to a pretty average start, with no major game-changing events that would affect the presidential race in a significant manner. An ISIS-inspired terrorist attack in Budapest kills 48 people and wounds hundreds, but nobody really cares that much (as usual). A government shutdown in late December is only slightly avoided after Republicans abandon an attempt to force abortion language into a fiscal bill, and while many on both sides of the aisle consider Senator Ted Cruz to be mainly responsible for the controversy, it essentially just makes him a more polarizing figure instead of actually net helping or hurting his popularity.

As Iowa approaches, the Republican primary is still as heated as ever, with Trump maintaining a sizeable lead but Senators Rubio and Cruz both giving him a run for his money. While Clinton maintains a steady lead over Sanders nationwide, he continues to gain momentum steadily, making both Iowa and New Hampshire toss-ups once again. Who will the American people choose to fight it out this November? Only Atlas can decide.

The poll will run for forty-eight hours, and the primary results (with maps, etc.) will hopefully be up soon after. Good luck!

Jim Gilmore! A wealth of national security experience with clear, conservative convictions.

In the context of a brokered convention, if you're not going to put it to a vote, I think the delegates representing Rubio, Cruz, Christie, Bush, etc. would all seek to nominate Gilmore over Trump. Or you could poll a brokered convention. The Gilmore team is confident in its ability to win a head to head.

Clinton. The Dem primary is closer than I would have expected.

Why would you vote for a low energy loser like Gilmore, when you can vote for a high energy winner like the Donald?
