Mr. Speaker,

The Socialist Party joins in expressing support for this motion and mourning for the victims of Paris; but furthermore we would like to add, if such were to be agreed upon by this house, to extend this resolution not only to the Paris attacks, but to all victims of the IS and religious extremist terrorism, be it in Beirut, Nairobi, Sinjar or Paris.

Mr. Speaker,

on behalf of the National Congress of Labour, NCL; the Socialist Party, and the working people of South America in general, I want to introduce the following, to be discussed and voted upon by parliament:

Mr. Speaker,

following the provisions of the Resolving Procedural Issues Act (FS 1-4), the Socialist Party has in unanimous decision voted to revoke Mr. Xahar's mandate, since unfortunately Mr. Xahar has not logged on this forum in a month. In the name of the Socialist Party, I petition to accept this decision, revoke Mr. Xahar's mandate, and allow the next ranking member on the party list, Mr. Bore, to be seated in parliament.

Thank you, and my regards.

Since there seems no input whatsoever from our government, I guess we can progress to the third reading, Mr. Speaker.

I can join in support of a holiday recess, maybe December 20 until January 7, or a similar timespan; provided the speaker would finally give a vote on my bill Tongue

I am willing to believe the speaker's interpretation here, and in order to finally get through with this:

I was under the assumption this house already is in recess?

If such should not be the case, I second the Deputy Prime Minister's move.

I have heard no objection from the floor? How can such be interpreted as failure of the motion?

No statement of support was given. We can try again.

Mr. PJ initially seconded the motion, I had assumed that was enough.
