I live in N.J. Republicans are running a pathetic campaign to take back the Assembly. They are weak. No TV ads, few radio ads, I have not seen any campaign rallies by Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick. Bramnick is expected to run for governor in 2017. If he can't motivate New Jerseyans to be the next speaker, how can he in 2017? Voter turnout will be at an all-time low. In 2007, 2011, people knew that there was an election. This country's voting patterns are becoming laughable. The people will get what they deserve.

New Jersey will almost certainly have a Democratic Governor by 2017 too.

We're gonna see a result anywhere between the status quo and D+8 (if they have a really good night). Republicans blew their one pickup opportunity in AD-38 because they didn't vet their candidate at all (the offensive book that forced him to drop out was found by a simple amazon search ffs), and Dems are on offense in the Republican-held Obama seats (LD-1 and LD-2, in which one seat in each is GOP, and LDs-8, 11, and 16, where both seats are GOP). Downballot Republicans tend to do much better in NJ because they're more moderate than their national counterparts, but the stink of Christie could very well sink them this time (though low turnout could mitigate catastrophic damage). Expect to see Christie under extreme pressure to drop out if Republicans lose seats.

Pretty much. Christie's strategy failed far harder than intended.

They might get their first Democratic Lieutenant Governor as well.
