Alberta has Banff National Park while Quebec has lots of beautiful areas as well, but Alberta wins simply because they more predominately speak English there.

Weather is a tie (but excellent in both places), Alberta probably barely wins on natural beauty though Quebec scores highly as well. Speaking English gives Alberta an extra nudge. Alberta.

Montreal is an incredibly cultured and exciting city, so not Alberta.

Quebec, here's why:
-Montreal and Quebec City are very cultured
-Poutine
-Quebec is the most economically left province
-Cheap childcare
-Beautiful architecture
-Better weather than Alberta
-French speaking
-Montreal has festival after festival after festival
-Better hockey
-Closer to major US cities

Downsides of Quebec:
-Xenophobia tends to run high in some parts
-If you don't speak French at all, anything outside of Kirkland, Westmount, or Dorval will be a struggle for you
-'Blueneck' culture in some parts
-Separatism

Indeed. As long as this forum insists on liking horrible weather, I see no reason for those of us with sane weather preferences to stay quiet.
