How could you hate Utah?  It's beautiful, has a good economy/government, Salt Lake City is a great city and the Mormons are mostly harmless!

Some of it doesn't make any sense.  The land of Massholes is WAY too high.  The top 9 makes sense, no problems there, perfectly good reasons for all of them to be at the top....then Massachusettes (I don't funking care that I spelled it wrong)?  Insane.  Especially since it's slightly more annoying little brother Connecticut is so far down the list, but still ahead of IN and NE?  WFT is wrong with Indiana and Nebraska?  I get 11-16, then Maryland?  Seriously?  There are stupidly gerrymandered districts that look better than this state, and that's not even mentioning the sh**thole that is Baltimore.  The rest of the list makes sense except for the mentioned low rankings of NE and IN.  I don't agree with all of it, but it makes sense.  MA and MD being so high is just crazy to me.

All that and a great landscape:

The fact that Iowa received higher ranking than Illinois is humorous.

How many Atlasians would actually pick any place in Iowa over the city of Chicago?

I understand that most of the states you have in blue have a little bit of everything, but...DC? I don't know you personally, but if you don't like California etc culturally, DC has nowhere to escape to like CA does. It's a very left-wing city, and elitist brand left. Idk.

Wow.  I have very similar preferences, though I would consider living in California as I happen to like Silicon Valley quite a bit and enjoy being in college out here.

Utah is beautiful and harmless full of mostly peaceful people, so for it to have a low opinion is nothing but "identity" or in this case "geography" politics.

If I could choose a couple states outside of my beautiful state of Michigan, I'd probably move to Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, or North Carolina.
