Are there any notable ones? I know Kennedy and Hatch were besties, and that Snollins didn't get along the best.

Cory Booker and Rand Paul were profiled by Politico as an odd couple.

Graham and McCain seem like best friends. I think 'ol Lindsey might have a crush on Maverick Mack.

I think he was referring to Ben Stevens, the son of Ted Stevens colloquially known as Ted Stevenson.

Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett got along really well, though so do most UT senators, Mike Lee and Hatch are the exception. Though when Hatch finally retires, it'll be interesting to see who gets his seat and has to get along with Mike Lee.

Oh and Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are best buds.

Trent Lott(R-MS) and John Breaux(D-LA) were/are still good friends.

I think Barbara Boxer(D-CA) and James Inhofe(R-OK) disagree on just about everything but they still respect each other.

McCain and Joe Lieberman(I/D-CT) were best buds when Lieberman served in the US Senate.

Of course there is the Reid(D-NV)/McConnell(R-KY) rivalry. I do wonder what their relationship is like now. Do they get along or they just don't like each other anymore?

Daschle(D-SD)  and Lott(R-MS) had a rivalry when they were both Senate Party Leaders but they are very close now.

Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt hate each other.
I think there would be something wrong with the universe if they got along. I think a lot of it stems from the 2004 gubernatorial election where McCaskill ran against Blunt's son, Matt.

The female senators have been known to be quite loyal even across party lines, but as the number of female senators creeps upwards that may decline as a phenomena.

Durbin and Rubio are gym buddies.

Schumer and McCain were never close, but in the process of immigration reform began to bond: one of them brought pizza for another's staffers iirc, Schumer carried Mccain's workload when he was ill and McCain gave Dchumer some fancy matzos during Passover.

Of course, in a modern senate setting with fundraising, regimented and hyper-separated parties and worries about seeing too much like a Washington insider much of the "friendly" nature is diminishing.
