WTF?

http://politicalwire.com/2015/10/17/vitter/

Wendy Ellis, a prostitute who ultimately had a three-year relationship with Sen. David Vitter (R-LA), tells Jason Brad Berry that she had a child by Vitter. She says that Vitter told her to get an abortion when she was four months pregnant but she refused.

Ellis says she’s telling her story now because she is terminally ill and wanted to “set the record straight.”

If this thing is legit then forget about the governor's race, I don't see how he can remain senator.

Well, he'd retire or lose in the Republican primary.

He's a big proponent of term limits. He has a bill which sets three terms in the House in two in the Senate as the maximum. What better time to make good on his own idea...

Louisiana has a jungle primary, not party primaries. But yeah, I could see him not making one of the top 2 spots.

^ It would be interesting to see how much this happens, but Edwards should have enough support that he can afford to have Democrats strategically vote for Vitter in the primary.

What? Does it happen often in LA?

Is Vitter becoming James Comer, who lost to Bevin? This could be a blessing in disguise for Republican if its true. Dardenne is far more electable than Vitter, and he could end up getting 2nd place. I'm personally moving this race to Leans Republican now.

After some thoughts,

I dont think it will matter for the election.
I mean, Vitter can simply says "she's lying" and no one would be able to prove she's telling the truth.

Yeah, the baby was adopted so the adoptive parents would need to give their consent to a DNA test.

Nothing was ever proven regarding Herman Cain's sex-related scandals, but they still catapulted him out of the presidential race.

This doesn't hurt Vitter in the jungle primary IMO, because anyone already supporting him is already overlooking a ton of scummy shenanigans. Where this could potentially do a lot of damage is the runoff, where moderate Republicans who aren't so hot on Vitter would under normal circumstances be goaded into reluctantly going for Vitter rather than the "Rubber Stamp for Barack HUSSEIN Obummer", but as Vitter's scandals get worse it becomes far more likely that those moderates would stay home or defect to Edwards. If this is substantiated in any way and/or new allegations surface, then that could seal Vitter's fate.

Wow, this could be a huge game changer. If the runoff is Vitter vs. Edwards, this race really could go Democratic...

The pro-life are so ready to be pro-abortion when it comes to their own self-interests.

Perhaps you can say that if it's proven to be true.

What scum!

Not only does he lose the Governorship with this; he also gets crippled in any effort to hold onto his Senate seat.

There is a Republican Congressman from Tennessee with a pro-life rating who asked his mistress to get an abortion, so Vitter isn't the only one who has done this sort of thing.

Once again we see that Vitter is a despicable human being. I feel so bad for the rest of his family, especially his wife who has faced so much because of him.

Look how everyone- Republican and Democrat reacted to this story.  We all seem to know that abortion kills a human being.

Why would this change anything?  Louisiana already knows that Vitter commits adultery, breaks the law by using prostitutes, and has a diaper fetish.  It's not like this story comes as a surprise.
