Sensenbrenner is great, he is one of the few northern Congressmen who realize what a grave problem  illegal immigration is.  The proposals he was putting forth were and still are much more important than adding an additional layer of beauracracy with the National Intelligence Director.

You know, even though the vast majority of people voted "no," that 13% that voted yes is enough to swing most states the other way.

Assuming I'd been born and raised in Georgia, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell I'd vote for, say, Saxby Chambliss - but I'd gladly, as a Democrat, vote for Zell Miller in a presidential race
