The other threads got me thinking. What is your favorite year of the century? And since polls with 100 options are a thing now, why not? Smiley

I'm probably a bit of a contrarian on this, but personally, I find the early part of the century best. '01-'05 range, but probably '01.

In general, which part of a generic century would you enjoy most?

It's interesting. Every time I think about "the best years of my life," I realize they're not easily bracketed by January and December. For example, 2015 was shaping up to be fantastic, but now that my family is in the midst of being destroyed, it becomes hard to say 2015 was awesome. The early part of 2010 was amazing as well, but then I went to university in September and had a short-term bout of depression. 2008 was wonderful from January to September, but then the new semester ended up being my worst of high school.

So honestly, I have no idea. 2014 is one of the few consistently good years I've had. There were no low lows or high highs, but in general it was decent. Maybe I'll go with that.

From my point of view allowing voters to change their vote is sort of like having a runoff, because there is the option of picking from the top two leading options when one changes one's vote.
