Today I come to you seeking re-election to the Senate seat that I just gained a short time ago. Right now my one announced candidate, Texasgurl, is on the far left of the political spectrum, especially with registered voters in Atlasia.

With past expierences viewing the Senate it is always better to have people in elected office who are closer to the center than the poles. With this less people are alienated and legislation has a better chance of doing what is best for the Atlasian people, not for that said persons respective party.

Texasgurl was a socialist from the Senate's infancy and left fantasy politics to later come back and win a Senate seat, then lose it. She moved away to Oklahoma and didn't run for anything. Now she moved back during the election to return to the Mideast and carbetbag for one of the Senate seats that she held before.

Texasgurl moves where the political winds take her. I think she hoped BRTD or Dean had won the election because she could have won an easy victory there. That is why I believed she came back, in hopes of an easy political victory.

I must add that I have no anger against Texasgurl, I just believe she is too far off to the left to acuratly represent the Mideast Region. I'm more of a Conservative than other people in our region but I'm much closer to the center than Texasgurl.

So far I voted on every piece of legislation and taken place in the discussion. I ask the people of the Mideast Region to keep this trend going and re-elect me to another term in the Senate. I promise to keep the views of the people of the Mideast in mind and do what's best for the Atlasian people in general!

Thank you. Good night and God bless.

Considering she actually lives in Wisconsin, I wouldn't think its fair to say she's carpetbagging.  Its more like she went back home.

She's so far left that in fact you voted for her:

Twice....

And the second time was against the significantly more centrist Demrepdan.

In all fairness, Texasgurl didn't actually lose her seat; she dropped out of the race but remained on the ballot in the state of Wisconsin.

May I ask you why it almost required your impeachment to resign from your cabinet post as Treasury Secretary?

Yes I voted for her, twice in fact, because she was better than the alternative each time 'cause she sometimes, but not always, compromises.

In my book carpetbagging is changing states for immediate political advantage. If she'd moved back here then waited until October to run for a seat I wouldn't have considered it caprpet bagging.

I knew I was going to be really busy during that time and that I probably shouldn't have taken that seat. But I thought I could do it and I was wrong, dead wrong. I failed doing that and resigned after the impeachment by then President PBrunsel.

He was away. It wasn't that he was totally incompetent or asked who controlled the monetary policy of Atlasia (like Kramer did). I will say that he shouldn't have accepted the position though.
