Possibly, with her moderate politics combined with home state appeal.  Minnehaha voted for Obama in 2008 (barely).

Absolutely not....

One of the most Republican Counties in the Willamette Valley, although Democrats have been known to perform well in this Blue Collar County occasionally at a Presidential Level, and certainly at a US Senate/ US House level.
