I don't think the "Summary of Races" thread needs to be a sticky item....

I can agree with that now that there is another thread with race information

But "Summary of Races" is non-partisan, WildCard's thread is his endorsements.  We want people to be able to see an unbiased overview of who is running.

You can unstick three of the four a week from now, I don't see why we should unstick them now.

Thats true I suppose... I'm just trying to put all the facts together in one place... I know the ballot I get in CA with all the election information has a list of candidates that includes Endorsements.

Either way they all should be unstickied by the sunday after next. Except for the "Register to vote" thread.

Also I didn't say your thread should be taken down... I said now that there are two threads with that info. in them it'd make sense if one goes... If its mine thats okay! Its nothing personal. Still though you only need to bare this for a week and 2 days or so thats it.

I don't think any of these threads should be taken down until after the election.  When I said to unstick these threads later, I meant after the election.  For now, the more info for voters, the better!

Is there going to be a referendum on when the governors races will be held?  We should propose something to Gustaf over the weekend.

I guess my honeymoon with the citizens was doomed to be rbief... Wink

I was reluctant to sticky this many, and I won't let it get out of control, promise. Smiley

I have already proposed on AIM to someone, Wildcard I think, that you all (meaning the people who contribute info about these things, such as JFK, JohnDFord, Wildcard, Dunn) start thinking of merging those threads that are similar etc. Also, we won't have the midterm stuff sticky once the elections are over, etc, so some of those are temporary.

Yes, I have started drawing up in MS word a post that will include overall voter registration, maps of each region and district along with their voter registration and a list of candidates for each.
