The bill is positive in that it could have the effect of attracting television and film production in the Northeast.

Television and film production, movie making, will provide employment, draw attention to the region, and open up potential spin off enterprises.

So this is a fairly small tax break, which I think should be offset by the personal expenses of the members of the production. I also think it'd help in the further cultural and artistic exposure of the Northeast.

Excellent - missed this one, but yes, I'll wholeheartedly support this.

Interestingly, what's happened in recent years with technology is that filmmaking and producing has become much easier than in the past. When you consider some of the cities in the region, this could encourage some of the talent to come out and give it a try.

Yeah, I'd be really excited to see this make film/TV a big part of the Northeast outside of NYC.
