Umm...

So we don't really have a speaker anymore because PiT's gone, unless Spiral has become speaker without my knowledge.

I do know we have to vote on Talleyrand as an appointee for the Legislature...

Aye

I also know we need a new speaker...

IDK if Spiral or Talleyrand want to/are supposed to be speaker but I guess I'll run because why not?

Was the Constitution changed to require legislative approval for Governor-appointed legislators? Unless that has been changed, it shouldn't require any input from the Legislature.

Seeing how both dar and I arrived in the Legislature at the same time, neither of us can claim seniority over the other. However, this other clause in the constitution is interesting:

I like the idea of being a Co-Speaker with dar for the rest of the session, and from my reading I see nothing to assume that it would go against the law to do that under these circumstances. What say you, friend?

To RG: Flo said that Talleyrand requires legislative approval to get in. And Flo is all-knowing. Cheesy
To Spiral: being co-speaker with you sounds great! Cheesy
To Talleyrand: welcome to the legislature! Cheesy

This also happened following the October 2012 IDS elections, due to a 2-2 tie.
