I'll redo my schedule and campaign staff when I get home from work. I'll reserve this post for it to avoid cluttering the thread.

I would support the change, but I will be taking two week long hiatus from the 19th to the 31st.  Since regular campaign timelines go on for months, I don't think it would work out for me.  :/

You may be jumping the gun here prematurely. The concept you put out is still interesting and I'd like to see how it turns out. I'm fine with either outcome, but let's see how the game runs for a little while longer before changing course.

Alright, let's keep things how they are and see if the drop outs continue.

I'm going to have to drop out as well. This TL is just too sh!tty and you are just too awful a person for me to continue to take part in this. Burn in hell.

Just kidding! Tongue You're doing just fine as moderator. This is the first interactive TL I have played in, so it's not like I'm used to playing it differently. And so what if it's a different format? It should make for an interesting TL. I'm still totally excited and engaged in the game.

Big Intimidating Update

So clearly, this ITL has recently been suffering a host of drop-outs and the format doesn't seem to be extremely popular. Thanks to everyone who still wishes to actively participate, especially those of you who have been helping me by giving suggestions and encouragement.

Initially, I wanted to try something fun and new for this timeline, though clearly, I was pretty unsuccessful. Though I'm going to keep it running as long as possible, I and some others I have been talking with think it may be a good idea to start over with the regular ITL format. You can keep your candidates, all speeches, etc. but the ITL would operate as the other, more successful ones do and there wouldn't be any of the weird stuff that seems to be unpopular. What are your thoughts on this reform?

Thanks! Cheesy

Basically that's the reason I'm considering doing it Tongue

It's got my support. Would we start at the beginning of Round 2?

We would restart the timeline from the beginning, though you guys would already have your acceptance speeches, campaign staff, and other speeches (if you made them) ready. So we would virtually have nothing to make up and could proceed as normal.

On another note, I will be camping and without Internet from July 12-18. So if things go as planned, I could start the new timeline on Sunday the 19th.

I'm for the new format, though the old one was promising.

Thank you! I agree that the old one was promising, but it seems that a lot of the participants were looking for something different and it would be best if we could all agree upon a more popular format.

What he said.

I certainly like the idea of us being able to do a speech or two a turn to get extra points.

Do you like it better than the proposed reformed version?

I do since it would make things go quickly but I wouldn't mind the change proposed.

I am in complete support of it. I am sorry for not getting my post/s out sooner, between school and work I haven't had any time to be on Atlas. I will post later tomorrow/today

By 'it' do you mean the current version or the change?

For those of you who like the current version, I am very happy that my work is appreciated and thank you! But I believe it would be best if we could all agree upon a more popular version.

UPDATE

Due to the recent controversy, I am expanding the time window indefinitely for allocating your CPs this round. They are no longer due after the 48 hours ends.
