I've heard rumors of this from April 2003 on.

They're probably just doing something to round up PKK remnants, or they're just posturing to warn the Kurds not to try anything funny.

But in case they do actually do anything in Iraq...they die.  The Kurds kill them, the Kurds in Turkey revolt, and the entire area blows up--before we can even react.  Turkey, despite gaining some brownie points from the French Trotskyistes, will never join the EU.
